Virtually unknown in the fashion world, Salt Lake City-based Rachel Parcell of Pink Peonies is one of the top earners. While the 23-year-old blogger declined to comment on her annual income, based on RewardStyle’s data, she could make at least $960,000 from affiliate programs alone this year. Other income is on top of that, such as partnerships with brands like TRESemmé or J. Crew. For More

A rental hakama from Guiches. In this set they’ve paired an ‘antique’ kimono for rental.
It’s a very straightforward colour co-ordination. A slightly darker hue of purple, pink and turquoise. Very common colours for young women.
In this set, the interesting feature is the contrast between patterns, the very tiny dots of colour on the Hakama vs. the large bold print of the Kimono and the balanced use of the cream colour. Additionally, while graduation normally takes place at the end of winter, the motif of this kimono is mixed spring (peony) and summer (tiny white bellflowers and irises standing in water).
It isn’t anything revolutionary, but I bet it would stand out in a sea of modern rental hakama sets.
